Matthew O’Loughlin is a Senior Director at Bregal Private Equity Partners. Prior to joining Bregal in 2020, Matt worked at Performance Equity Management, a boutique private equity investor, where he worked on global buyout and venture capital fund and direct equity investments. In his role as a Vice President at Performance Equity Management, Matthew was responsible for sourcing, leading diligence on, and presenting investment recommendations for fund and direct equity commitments. In his time at the firm, Matthew worked on investments totaling nearly $1B in equity commitments.

Matthew holds degrees with honors in Economics & Business and Civil Engineering from Lafayette College. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
